These silly photos were recently spotted on eBay:

eBay's Booty*Queen states, "THIS IS A VERY SLEEK 35MM CAMERA- CAN BE USED ANYWHERE"

Cat Pissed on LX:

MY CAT PISSED ON MY PENTAX LX!!!!!! For a map to his grave email me at "dead cat now.com" Just kidding, he is not dead but he did pee on my PENTAX LX. NOT ONLY did he pee on it but it was in a plastic bag and it sat in the pee for two weeks. I washed it off, sorry there was nothing else to do, then I still could not part with it. It was my first LX and it was the one camera that I really wanted ...and then that damn cat...well you know the rest of the story. Unfortunately I have three cats so I do not know who did it. I offered a great deal to the one who rolled over on the perp but they laughed at me and dared me to buy the new PENTAX*IST. Maybe this one is not even good for parts....the PENTAX F 2 50mm lens comes with it...needless to say, it is trash. I guess this is the true test of the Pentax LX O RING system sealant.

The look on the cat's face is priceless.

It's the camera that's for sale, not the house, right?

Anyone spotting a silly eBay auction photo is heartily encouraged to email me!

This photo was submitted by John, and it is giant!...We're wondering what the electric toothbrush has to do with the price of bread? I think the "Certificate of Honor" on the wall adds a certain touch. Makes you feel as though you could really trust this person.

Bernice writes: "Re: camera picture with toothbrush.  Is it possible he was using the toothbrush to clean the camera? Second thought.  No, look at the dirty switch plate.  This guy doesn't clean anything."

ClixOflex.jpg (535316 bytes)

It must have been during a s¦ance that this person got the inspiration to sell their Clix-o-Flex. Looks like candle light to me.

ebayCadet.jpg (33599 bytes)

Do you think they used the other Agfa Cadet they had lying around to photograph this one?

A recent ad for a Leica M3:

"rear door still nice, better than ex+, and with complete vulkan, and is the lovely type with 200 ASA index, glass pressure plate, and 'balls' licking device; "

And Michael notes:

"There's a guy on Ebay selling mostly Nikon stuff who has his wife pose in revealing swimsuits for each item. Usually, she's holding the item and smiling. It's soft porn I guess, and of course her fleshy presence is not in the least bit relevant to the items being sold. One night recently she was holding a 135 mm Nikon lens while wearing a chocolate brown two-piece. I asked my wife to take a look at the photo, and, more important, consider lending me the money for the lens. I figured she'd think it was funny, and this would soften her up a bit when I asked for the cash. 'That's his wife?' she said, looking over my shoulder. 'Ya,' I replied. 'And he's got her on Ebay in swimsuits?' she asked incredulously. 'Uh huh,' I said. She scratched her head. 'Well Jesus, I wouldn't buy anything from that moron,' she said, and walked away.  I got the lens somewhere else."

This was selling in the vintage camera section:

jim.jpg (65211 bytes)

The description:

"HERE IS YOUR CHANCE TO GET A PICTURE OF A GOOD LOOKING GUY!!! HE LIVES IN PHILADELPHIA AND WORKS OUT ALL THE TIME. HE ENJOYS GAMBLING, DRINKING, GOOD LOOKING GIRLS AND LONG WALKS ON THE BEACH. I HAVE 3 OTHER PICTURES OF HIM IF YOU LIKE (GRADUATION, VACATION AND THIS ONE SHOWN). IF YOU HAVE A SINGLE YOUNG DAUGHTER, HE IS 19 AND AVAILABLE!!!! WINNER PAYS 1.50 S/H. PAYPAL ONLY! JIM IS WAITING FOR YOU LADIES!"

Jim was going for one penny the last time I looked.

rocket.jpg (10519 bytes)

"Mint in box Rocket camera, don't know much about this camera, but on the box the price is $1.25. Great shape."    [And it sold for $41! Musta been the description.]

Jesse brought this eBay auction to my attention, with the question, "Are you responsible for driving up the price of this camera?"

And Melinda says she found this under Photo Equipment, Vintage, Novelty:

i-1.jpg (12307 bytes)

"Picture of me "

It's the buck teeth that're killin' me, man.

pitaThePup.jpg (12288 bytes)

Pita the Pup was spotted in a SceneX Camera ad . Looks a bit like Farrah Faucet, don't you agree?

I heard from Pita's owners, "dayspast" on eBay. They stick a photo of Pita in every ad they place.

" I show her in different hats and such in all of my photos. She is 1/2 Min Pin and 1/2 Shih-Tzu....if you can believe that!!! She weighs about 8 lbs. 3 1/2 years old and the love of our lives! We call her "Al's other wife"!!! (my husband) "
