Tower One-Twenty Flash

Tower One-Twenty Flash

The Tower camera, sold by Sears, Roebuck and Co, takes eight 6×9 images on 120 film. The lens says “Precise” (impressive, eh?) “f110mm Tower lens”. This camera is all metal and weighs a ton! The viewfinder is on the side. As you can see, my flash attachment is kinda missing the most important part. I’ve probably got some parts laying around here somewhere. Really, though, this place is a wreck. I’m lucky I get anything done.

The shutter’s got “time” and “inst.” settings.

McKeown’s Camera Guide 2005/2006 says” Tower one-twenty Flash (Model 97) – Metal box camera with long eye-level finder on right hand side. Two synch contacts on top. ‘Precise 110mm Tower Lens’. Made in USA. Catalogs called it Tower 97, but it says ‘Tower One-Twenty Flash’ on the camera.

This camera gives the typical box camera soft focus. Since there’s nothing I can do about it, I’ve decided I like that.

Meanwhile … searching for the rest of the flash attachment …

Check out my Box Camera Basics page for tips on film loading, etc.
