The Rollop. When my friend first gave this camera to me the name kept reminding me of Trollop. After a while, it became Roll-up … like, fruit roll-up.
It hung out in the studio for nearly a year. I picked it up one day and thought, “I’m going to load this sucker!” I opened it and there was already film in it. Dangit! I slapped it shut. I’d ALREADY had that thought months before and had loaded it. Oh well. I couldn’t remember whether I should use the middle film counter window or the upper right window. For absolutely no reason whatsoever, I used the upper right ruby window. That was an excellent idea! [That was a really bad idea.]
